The upstairs area doesn’t follow a set daily pattern. The children’s home routine is ‘mirrored’ at nursery, creating a ‘home from home’ environment. Each child has it’s own book where all of their meals, nappies and sleeps are recorded; Parents are encouraged to write in here any changes to their child’s routine, further developing the bond between homelife and nursery.

Our core Under 2's beliefs:
- Daily access to the outside area
- Independence promoted at meal times
- Rhythm and rhyme music time (music monkey) is part of the daily routine
- Messy and sensory play is a huge part of our day, it’s always available for the children to access
We promote sleeping outside as it has many benefits for the children! Since introducing this we have seen a large decrease in the number of ill absences!
We have a very unique environment. It’s purpose is to spark curiosity in our children’s minds! Our setting is full of loose parts, tins for emptying and filling, and natural resources, a lovely invitation to play; and… NO PLASTIC!
Most importantly we have fun and are happy at nursery
